Pixel Lineage Mage guide

Mage trades durability for Magic scaling. Community references list a low health and defense baseline, high Magic, and a spell library gated by scrolls. The values below are useful for planning but should be rechecked after balance updates.

Stat Listed value Community interpretation
HP 76 You cannot trade hits like a frontliner
Attack 8 Physical gear is a weak investment
Defense 8 Armor buffs and shields matter early
Magic 22 Main scaling stat for spell hits
Speed 12 Solid turn pace, not a dodge build
Crit 10% Useful, not the core plan
Dodge 5% Do not rely on avoidance

Spell reference

Spell Scroll rarity Energy Cooldown Element Role
Pebble Throw Common 2 2 turns Earth Single-target hit that scales with Magic
Water Bullet Uncommon 2 1 turn Water Low-cooldown filler while bigger spells recover
Stone Skin Uncommon 2 4 turns None Defense buff; recast refreshes, never stacks
Fireball Rare 3 3 turns Fire One foe; successful timing marks grow the blast
Icicle Rare 2 2 turns Ice Up to 3 hits; no timing successes and it fizzles
Ice Blizzard Epic 4 6 turns Ice 3-round field; enemy dodge is cut in half
Meteor Legendary 7 5 turns Fire Heavy hit plus Burn; perfect timing hits every living foe

Practical order

  1. Learn stable early damage with Pebble Throw and Water Bullet.
  2. Keep Stone Skin available to cover low Defense.
  3. Practice timed casts before spending rare scroll uses.
  4. Bank Energy before large incoming damage so Mage Barrier absorbs more.
  5. Promote to Cleric, Hexer or Summoner only after choosing an element or support plan.
